Rosi's Page
Rosi is the most exciting and driven border collie I have owned. She is high drive in the agility ring, always gives 110% and has done ever since I first started training her. Outside the ring she is easy and enjoyable to own.
Career highlights so far (age 3): Winning qualifying classes in both Excellent Agility and Jumping at the Brisbane 2014 Nationals. Winning Novice Strategic Pairs and 2nd in both Novice Gamblers and Novice Snooker. Qualifying for 3 out of 4 finals at age 2. Winning Open Jumping finals at the WA State Trial 2014 Winning Open Jumping at the Perth Royal Show 2014 Winning Masters Jumping (and 2nd Masters Agility) at the Western Classic 2015 Rosi works for both toys and food (prefers toys). She is a very enthusiastic tugger and is always keen to train. She is a very bold dog, nothing fazes her when training and has been running at full speed ever since she started as a young dog. She is happy to repeat things and does not worry if she makes a mistake. She is not soft, but she is very biddable and always wants to please. She is not a wilful dog on course and goes exactly where she is told. She is reliable on all her obstacles and has both running and stopped A-Frame and Dog Walk. She waits well on her contacts and the start line, and is not sticky. She will work at a distance and in close. She is 49cm tall and has moderate bone and a medium coat. Rosi's hips have been xrayed as normal. She is CLL, TNS and IGS clear and a CEA carrier. She has been structurally assessed by Helen King. She was bred by Ivan Solomon (a top WA 3-sheep trialler). Rosi is a half sister to Perangery Gem (Deb Baile), Perangery Ticket (Sue Hogben) and Perangery Grif (Brian Cowling). She is related to Perangery Quinn (Deb Baile). |
